Medical Center M.Ed. Program

The University of Houston offers a Master’s of Education degree in Teaching with an emphasis in the Health Sciences on the campus of the Texas Medical Center. Courses are offered and taught by UH College of Education faculty.

The program is designed to meet the needs of professionals involved in medical education. Course content emphasizes applications in the health science setting. The instructors utilize academic activities that students can use in their professional lives as they explore best practices in teaching, learn to design and conduct research and investigate the uses of instructional technology in an educational environment.
